Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Web Cue LLC ("Web Cue", "we", "us") handles information on webcue.org and in Web Cue Campaign Manager, our internal Google Ads tool. Effective October 24, 2026.

1. About Web Cue Campaign Manager

Web Cue Campaign Manager (https://ads.webcue.org) is our internal tool for creating, managing and reporting on our Google Ads campaigns: Search, Performance Max, Display and Demand Gen. Only authorized Web Cue staff can use it. It is not offered to the public, to clients or to any other third party.

2. Google user data we access

When an administrator on our team signs in with Google and authorizes Web Cue Campaign Manager, the tool accesses Google Ads data through the Google Ads API, using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords permission. This covers only the Google Ads accounts that Web Cue owns or manages. The data includes:

  • Google Ads account details, such as customer IDs, account names, currency and time zone.
  • Campaigns, asset groups, ad groups, ads, keywords, negative keywords, locations, languages, and their settings and status.
  • Budgets, bids and bid strategies.
  • Images, logos and videos we add to our campaigns.
  • Conversion actions and their tracking tags, and account-level callouts.
  • Performance reports, such as impressions, clicks, cost, conversions and search terms.
  • The email address of the Google account that granted access, and the OAuth tokens Google issues, which the tool needs to connect to the Google Ads API.

We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts or any other Google service.

3. Why we use it

We use Google user data only to run Web Cue Campaign Manager for our own team, specifically to:

  • create, edit, pause, enable and remove our Google Ads campaigns, asset groups, ad groups, ads and keywords;
  • change budgets, bids and bid strategies;
  • set up conversion tracking and callouts in our accounts;
  • show performance reports to our team so we can manage our advertising.

We do not use Google user data for any other purpose. In particular, we do not use it to serve or target advertising, to build user profiles, to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or to judge anyone's creditworthiness or lending eligibility.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone. It is seen only by authorized Web Cue staff inside the tool. We may disclose information only if the law requires it. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How we store and secure data

Google Ads data and OAuth tokens are stored on access-controlled cloud servers. Only authorized Web Cue staff can reach them. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted (AES-256) before they are stored and are never shown in the tool's interface. Staff sign in with a password and two-factor authentication, and access is removed as soon as someone leaves the team. The tool keeps a log of every change made through it (who made it, when and what changed). We keep only the data the tool needs to work.

6. How long we keep data

OAuth tokens are kept while the Google account stays connected. Disconnecting the account in the tool revokes and deletes its token immediately; tokens are deleted within 30 days after access is revoked any other way. Performance reports are fetched from Google when someone views them and are held in memory for at most 15 minutes; they are not stored permanently. The change log is kept for up to 13 months for security and audit purposes, then deleted. Backups are overwritten on a rolling cycle of no more than 30 days.

7. Revoking access

An administrator can disconnect a Google account in the tool at any time. Access can also be removed from the Google account's security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
